Day 5

I am working my fingers to the crochet bone I am going to have this thing finished by sat. I get a message from the baby's mother her name is Andrea BTW so she just says call her back. This message was from last night but I didn't call her until todayand what does she say come on guess I want you to just guess yes you got it the christening is POSTPONED that's right I said it postponed wow it would be nice to let the people who are preparing for something that you are moving it to the next month. So for 2 days I have just been waisting my time crocheting my heart out for nothing I DID NOT HAVE TO RUSH no you do not understand how hard it is for me to do 1 thing it was making my eyes cross of course I can finish projects in a week but the ADD leads me astray LOL so here I am free to carry all my wip's so I can di lil by lil again YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I am so happy I can get back to my drama hat & my baby's sweater.

Day 4

Here I am crocheting my lil fingers off getting close to the end but I need to know one lil thing my baby's length and of course her mother has no tape measure's so I say the logical thing which is go buy one from the 99 cent store but she has doubt well I know in every 99c store I have been in has them but again I say WHATEVA. C what u can do so I am waitin for an answer we shall c how long it takes for me to get it. Almost done YEAH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Day 3

So today I finally took a break from the dress for the love of mike and don't ask me who mike cause I don't know I needed a dam break so I went back to the stone path hat which is a crazy ass pattern but I can't say it's boring. Well today is the day when it finally hit's me that the dress is tooooo big maybe I should have used the required yarn but WHATEVA neway what the heck am I going to do, here I go with the alterations I closed up the middle of the back & made a pleat looks pretty cute I guess. Oh did I forget to mention that my crochet mentor just let me keep going w/o telling me that the dam dress was too big thanks a bunch LAURA. 2:45 is when I went to bed.

Day 2

Ok so here I an in a mad dash to finish this dress & it's driving me crazy Y u might ask well because I have crochet ADD of course or did I forget to mention that well I do and all this double crochet is driving me crazy. So i get to the arms now I am 13 rows in & hell if I didn't hit a snag I can't get them to line up like the pic. Took a break for lunch & some fresh air and came back & knocked that row out (side bar RIF).

LaShae's 6 day Christening Dress Day 1

Ok so here is the deal my goddaughter is getting baptized on sunday the 16th and of course her mother has the bright idea for me to make the dress her exact quote was It would be so nice if uou made her one yeah right you may say why not I will tell you this she said on wednesday the 5th short notice huh that's what I said. Well being the sucker that I am I said I will try now of course I had the option to buy one but since I already brought one for my other goddaughter who will be eight this month which of course is too small for the baby because she is older than her sister when we christened her but I digress. So me & my crochet chicas are going on a ROAD TRIP on sat so I decide to buy the yarn then & look 4 a pattern. Got the yarn Caron SS in off white yes I know the traditional color is white but I hate white so there it is :-P . So here is the begining of the dress wish me luck.
