Charity

So me & the CC ladies have decided to donate our talents to 2 charities Red Scarf/ Newborns in Need so I just have to be diffrent and do something out of the norm. I decide tdo a 2 in 1 scarf one fat one skinny & they intertwine it did come out kinda cute but I made it up so it was kind of an experiment you tell me. Oh & of course it's not red but they said it did not have 2 b LOL.

Well here it is the middle of the afternoon I have a garter belt to finish for a bridal shower tomorrow and I am barley halfway finish but I just could not resist the blog especially since I am so neglectful I tell you if my blog was a kid BCW would be in my house all the time LOL. Just a hello.

The torn is out

basketweave, yarn finished, yarn purchased, then yarn finished AGAAIN!!! Oh my gosh I thought it would never be over. But I finally am finished it is out of the house and hopefully around lil debbie.

Fresh from the yarn swap

I had to deny myself yall after taking carefull considerations in my decisions to swap some of my yarn I was determined not to come home with more yarn than I took to the swap & yeah I did it whohoo for me.

I am so excited my group is having a yarn swap on saturday & I can not wait to see what evreryone brings especially since I have sworn off buying yarn for a lil while atleast 2 mos. So this is a real big deal for me because it's like cheating LOL

Working it out for someone else

Since I lead the group I figure that if someone has a problem I will try to help them so here it is the sweater that will drive you to drink ( I don't drink by the way but if I did I would have been leaning that day) This is a cute sweater you might say oh but wait, wait untill you finish the body & one sleeve and begin to do the other sleve & uh there it is you realize one sleeve is comming out bigger than the other. At first you think it is you not following the directions correctly but then you realize you have too many stitches after doing it over 3x's. After the third time you realize that for some strange reason at the beginning of this pattern there is a glitch & you have too many stitches on that side to begin with. So what do we dedicated hookers do we adapt as I did & changed the pattern and did made it fit as you can probally tell the sleeves are still a lil uneven but hell I was just helping someone else so I think I did pretty good atleast now she knows she ain't crazy LOL

Ok so I know I have been slacking on the whole blog drama but I am here now & that's all that counts RIGHT! RIGHT LOL. Well here it is the torn is almost finished but of course I ran out of yarn it's only right the damn irony. The varigated is gone all of it & of course I can't get any more because I got it off of ebay and it's not a recent yarn so there is the first problem whateva I can deal just continue without it did that not I ran out of the solid yarn and of course I have to go all the way to queens to get it so it's on hold for now by the time I get it to my lil cuz she just might be walking LOL.

The torn in my side

I tell you I get bored easily and this is why this baby blanket is a torn. I am soooooo bored with this double crochet my next one will not be so simple. As you can see I started out with the basket weave but that was going to take to damn long so I switched to dc but it just takes so long. I am only half way done why you may ask because I am so bust finishing other wips and then starting new ones I know bad bad me but I can not help myself I need variety!!! Mind you my lil cuz was born last Tuesday shame on me I know but at least I finished the hat & booties. I know I know get to work right
